Epidemic
May 16th, 2006, was the worst day I could have imagined. My only child, Torri Wightman died in a daytime car accident. Maybe it was the wet road, the puddle, low tire pressure, speeding, texting. No one that maintained consciousness in the car will tell me. I only know what it wasn't: drinking and drugging were not factors.
If Erin Leith, the driver of the car, someone Torri barely knew, was more skilled and experienced a driver, I believe Torri would be here. Teenage death because of inadequate training is epidemic.
